Game Fence Height
The height of the fence on a game farm varies according to the animals retained. On the basis of their ability to travel over, under, or through fences, various categories of game animals can be distinguished. It should be noted, however, that the majority of animals will only attempt to cross fences under duress or tension.
Animals that leap over fences can be separated into the following categories: Kudu, Impala, Eland and Waterbuck
Creatures that climb under or through fences:
Ungulates such as Warthog, Bush pig, Duiker, Steenbok, Klipspringer, Gemsbok, Springbok, Sable Antelope, Red Hartebeest, and Tsessebe, as well as predators such as Jackals, Caracal, Cheetah, Leopard, and Lion, can be found in South Africa.
Creatures that breach fences: Bull Elephants, Bison, Rhinos, Giraffes, Waterbucks, Elands, Blue Wildebeests, and Sable antelopes.
Springbok, Blesbok, Steenbok, Duiker, and Oribi are animals that do not normally leap fences.

Breeding Camps
- A variety of breeding camps are available to choose from when working with Capstone Fencing.
Wire Constructed with 30 Strands This fence was constructed using thirty strands of smooth steel wire. - Jackals should not be able to get through your fence because the horizontal wires are spaced very closely together.
- This traditional game fence is constructed out of 21 strands of steel wire, and it also includes netting wire. In order to make the bottom section of the fence Jackal-proof, netting wires are attached to it.
Different heights off netting wire are available
There is a selection of netting wire in a variety of heights.
900mm – 1200mm – 1500mm – 1800mm
The bottom portion of the fence is covered with the netting wire, and it is folded over until it meets the ground.
To ensure that there are no predators present, we suggest installing sufficient electrification along with tripwires. This will prevent warthogs from tunneling under the fence.
The distance between Y-standards is 10 meters, while the distance between droppers can range anywhere from 500 millimeters to 1.43 meters.
