Guide pricing

A realistic ClearView starting point.

For a useful ClearView fencing price, compare quotations for the same fence height, specification and project scope. Ask for material, installation, transport, gate and optional security costs to be identified, together with VAT, exclusions and the quotation validity period. Your written Capstone quotation confirms the amount for your site.

Guide pricing: ClearView fencing typically ranges from about R900 to R1 500 per metre, supplied and installed, depending on panel height, aperture, wire, post system, coating, gates and site conditions. Prices are per site and client and are only confirmed in your written quotation.

What changes the quotation.

A national “price per metre” is only useful when the scope is the same. Capstone prices the selected fence system, delivery distance and real site conditions, with inclusions shown clearly.

01

Panel height

Higher panels require more material and influence post length, foundations, handling and installation time.

02

Aperture and wire

The selected mesh aperture and 3 × 3, 3 × 4 or 4 × 4 mm wire configuration change the panel specification.

03

Post system

Evo Guard, T-post, square or other project-specific post profiles have different material and fixing requirements.

04

Finish and exposure

ZincAlu, powder-coated or plastic/PVC-coated options are selected around appearance, exposure and project requirements.

05

Foundations and ground

Rock, soft ground, slopes, concrete, services, drainage and difficult access affect excavation and installation.

06

Gates and additions

Pedestrian/vehicle gates, spikes, electric provision, razor, anti-dig and automation are separate scope items.

07

Delivery and location

Distance from the manufacturing base, load size, offloading and accommodation can affect the installed price.

08

Removal and programme

Existing-fence demolition, restricted hours, induction, security escorts and accelerated programmes must be priced explicitly.

For a fair comparison

Give every supplier the same information.

  • Total metres and a marked layout if available
  • Fence height, aperture and wire configuration
  • Post and coating requirement
  • Gate sizes, quantities and automation scope
  • Security additions and anti-dig requirement
  • Ground, slope, access and existing-fence information
  • Project location, programme and supply/install scope
